It’s been a minute… okay, more like a year 😂
If you’re reading this, thank you for still being here! Life has looked a little different over the past year, and somewhere between all of the exciting, busy, and very real-life moments, my blog and newsletter took a little backseat.
But I’ve missed this little corner of the internet — and I’m so excited to bring A Dose of Style back to your inbox!
What I've Been Loving Lately
A few things I've been wearing lately 🤎
The brown vest + white pants — I love this combination for fall. It feels seasonal without being overly “fall,” and the white pants make it feel a little fresher. The top is a small business find!
The trench coat look — This is such an easy outfit formula: simple top + jeans + trench. I found my trench for a really good deal, but I linked a similar one because I can't link my exact find.
The cozy gray sweater + jeans — Probably one of my favorite kinds of outfits: simple, comfortable, and still pulled together. A good neutral sweater is one of those pieces I think every closet needs.
The striped top + white pants — Stripes are always a yes in my book. I love this with the white pants for a classic, easy look that doesn't feel too dressed up.
The navy set — When you want to look like you put in effort but really didn't 😂. A matching is such an easy one-and-done outfit, and I love this navy color for fall. It also has a little texture allowing you to dress it up!
The brown sweater + $25 leggings — This is another shop-your-closet kind of outfit. A good pair of leggings (I've been eyeing these for awhile from target and decided to get them) and a cozy sweater can take you so many places depending on what you add.
The blue jacket + cream basics — This is a good example of using a statement-ish layer to make really simple basics feel like an outfit. I love having a few jackets/cardigans that can completely change an otherwise simple look.
Thinking Ahead to Christmas…
I know, I know… Christmas feels like a stretch...but it will be here before you know it! 😂 But there is nothing I love more than a beautifully wrapped gift, so naturally I’ve already started thinking about this year’s wrapping situation. Here are a few things I have my eye on for making those packages extra pretty this year.
A Few Beauty Favorites Lately
I’m always a sucker for a good beauty find, especially when it’s something that actually earns a spot in my everyday routine. I wouldn't say I'm the most savvy; I actually ask my sister for insight all the time. These are a few things I’ve been loving lately — some old favorites, some newer finds, and a couple of products that I’ve been reaching for on repeat.
If I could have everything Hill House...I would! So naturally had to snag a makeup headband, and they're currently on sale for $10!
The Loving Tan self-tan is my go-to when a spray tan doesn't fit my schedule!
If there's one thing you get, let it be the face mask - they are life-changing.
